Tilda Swinton Sleeps in a Glass Box at MoMA

Actress Tilda Swinton, best known for her Oscar winning role in Michael Clayton (2008) or my favorite, her role as Gabriel in Constantine, has now taken to performance art of some kind.

In New York City, at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), people may randomly stumble upon Swinton sleeping in a glass box in the middle of a room. (check out the photos below), The Huffington Post reports.

She has been performing her art in cities across the world since 1995.  Though you can not find a listing for it anywhere.  There are no scheduled times and No information about the art, other than what is written on the outside of the box as an explanation for the work.

Basically, Tilda strolls into MoMA whenever she wants, gets in her box and sleeps.  That's it.

Maybe she just has a hard time sleeping alone?

Wax It & get a Merkin from a Real Housewife?

Cindy Bishop (Real Housewives of New York) says that the new trend is Feathers and Fox Fur for your vagina.

This is a very expensive Merkin kids. $225 to have a hot pink patch of fox fur on your crotch. Or you can get some crazy colored bird feathers glued to your nether region for $195. Really? This is friggin stupid.

Cindy has created two new lines of luxury merkins ... which she's now selling at her NY waxing salon -- Completely Bare.

The first line is called the Foxy Bikini, in which the bikini line is waxed bare and replaced with a pubic wig made from real fox fur. They come in a variety of colors ... including traditional pink!

For those who desire a more festive flower -- Cindy also offers the Carnivale Bikini ... in which the pubic region is decorated with feathers in a variety of colors!

Roger Ebert Calls this Video Oscar Worthy.

Here is a simple yet cool video of the NYC blizzard shot by Jamie Stuart  with a camera and tripod. There is a time before the snow turns into slush that is truly beautiful.  Roger Ebert thinks that this three-and-a-half minute video is Oscar Worthy.

Here is what Ebert had to say:
" This film deserves to win the Academy Award for best live-action short subject.
(1) Because of its wonderful quality. (2) Because of its role as homage. It is directly inspired by Dziga Vertov's 1929 silent classic "Man With a Movie Camera." (3) Because it represents an almost unbelievable technical proficiency. It was filmed during the New York blizzard of Dec. 26, and Jamie Stuart e-mailed it to me with this time stamp: December 27, 2010 4:18:18 PM CST. "

The turn-around time on this video is truly amazing as well. Stuart used a Canon 7D (and a variety of Nikon manual lenses) to shoot the film and Final Cut Pro to edit this in just a little over a day!
Watch the video below and let us know what you think!
